Throb-like … part of me — like I just read a scorching-hot text message that made my pussy clench. Like my clit consumes me with its own heartbeat. (Do I need Jesus? Maybe.)
my Womanizer Next Review from June 21, 2024

That's what I said about the full-sized Womanizer Next. And I'm just as enthralled by the compact Womanizer Next Liberty — and ready to recommend it at a much lower price.
Womanizer's Premium 2 presses and thrums. Their Next and Next Liberty caress and throb, like gentle presses on a doorbell. How gentle?
Like I clenched, and that pelvic floor contraction pulled on my clit a little … like my clit went from throbbing to twitching, seemingly of its own accord.
We'll break down:
- How Womanizer's 3D Pleasure Air feels
- Who it's for and not for
- What to get instead if it's not for you
- What makes the Womanizer Next Liberty different

How does the Womanizer Next Liberty feel?
With the gentlest Climax Control settings, it's like the sensation's coming from within — when someone whispered just the right thing, so I feel like I could cum if I so much as bumped my panty seam or breathed deep and clenched again.
Like I did clench, and that pelvic floor contraction pulled on my clit a little.
Again.
And again.
In a rhythm.
And that was taken up a notch or two.

Indeed, it's enough to make me cum while feeling flushed, like my body's about to cum again, whether it wants to or not — and not because it was forced to by an outside force, but rather like my clit went from throbbing to twitching, seemingly of its own accord.
That's how the Womanizer Next and Next Liberty feel at their lightest air pulse depth. When you turn the Dynamic Dimension Drive (3D Pleasure Air) up, it's more like the tapping that clitoral pressure wave massagers are usually known for.
And that's before you even turn up the speed.
It's perfect for those who crave light caresses or cum easily and want to turn the intensity way down after orgasm.

Who is the Womanizer Next Liberty for?
If you still want to get an intense clitoral air pulse toy, stick to one of the tried-and-true.
Think of it as a three-circle Venn diagram of affordable, great controls, or intense.
The Womanizer Liberty Next might be a good fit for you if:
- You get aroused and taken to the edge easily
- You hyperfixate on subtle sensations
- You savor straddling the edge of orgasm and notice every degree, minute, second your "arousal" meter gets dialed up and down.
- The description, "Climax Control," gets you hot and bothered
- You started drooling at what I described in my Womanizer Next review

But I mean it when I say that it's best if you genuinely seek out gentle jollies.
To be blunt: players with a penchant for power-maxxing should get something else. If you still want to get an intense clitoral air pulse toy, stick to one of the tried-and-true.
Think of it as a three-circle Venn diagram of affordable, great controls, or strong:
- Get the La Boutique Voila's Little Goo or the Rose toy if you want the most power on a budget and don't mind minimal controls
- Get a Womanizer Premium 2, Classic 2, or We-Vibe Melt 2 if you want the crème de la crème of control panels and intensity, and don't mind the luxury price.
- A Satisfyer or ROMP toy if you're on a budget and want great controls — but can compromise on raw power. They lack pulse depth adjustability and don't compare to the other classics mentioned above.

What the Womanizer Next Liberty does differently
Womanizer's Next Liberty puts the petite in petite mort. It takes the precision increments to an extreme, focusing on light sensations with some sharper, torturous settings for an eye-rolling ecstatic rocket.
Relatively speaking, of course. I'll say its specialty is the lower speeds, and sometimes it gets wild with the more intense, buzzy, vibration-like sensations, and turning it way down.
It's much of the same technology as the Womanizer Next, ready to relish in a compact case. Here's how it compares to its cousins and siblings — Womanizer Premium 2 vs. Womanizer Next Liberty vs. Next vs. Liberty 2.

Overall shape, size, and features
Womanizer's Next Liberty takes on a slightly different nozzle profile than its predecessors. Its opening is skewed so it sits super close to the top, which I consider a plus. There's hardly any bulk that would bump into, say, the base of a vaginal plug I'm clenching around.

Think of how the We-Vibe Melt 2 and Dame Aer were designed to be paired with penetration. It's like that. In my opinion, it's still a bit clunky to combine with a dildo, but for a stationary pussy plug? Yessss.
The Next Liberty is also compact, with a short, stout handle and a magnetic cover for on-the-go use. And something I haven't seen on a Womanizer air pulse toy before is a USB‑C charging port rather than the usual external magnetic contacts.

Overall, I'm happy with these changes, even though I wish the designers could have made the nozzle's dome sleeker.
Womanizer Next Liberty measurements & specs
- 10mm x 16mm inside nozzles
- 12.5 cm (5 inches) long with case
- 5.5 cm (2 inches) wide
- 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) deep
- 3 buttons
- 8 speed settings
- 3 Dynamic Dimension Drive depth options
- Detachable silicone nozzle for cleaning
- USB‑C rechargeable with silicone port cover
- Waterproof and submersible

Intensity and speed settings
- Compared to the Womanizer Premium 2's 14 settings, the Next Liberty's highest speed feels like a 5
- The Next Liberty's lowest speed is gentler than the Next's lowest speed
- The Next Liberty's highest speed and intensity are about as strong as the 10th speed setting out of 14 on the Next's highest intensity
- It's hard to objectively compare because the Next's deepest settings are rumblier than the Next Liberty
In other words, you'd really have to appreciate soft touch to savor the Next Liberty. I can't emphasize that enough. It's not for everyone, but it's a unique sensation I'm happy to add to my collection.
Control panel
The Next features five buttons, which I discussed in my full Womanizer Next review. In short: on/off, Climax Control (adjust pulse depth), decrease speed, increase speed, and turn on journeys and patterns.
In contrast, the Next Liberty has three buttons, keeping it minimal: adjust pulse Dynamic Dimension Drive, decrease speed, increase speed.

Both feature three LEDs to indicate which depth ("rumbliness") level you're using.
I wrote before that I didn't care for the Next's and Premium 2's pre-set edging "journeys," but they've grown on me since then. I don't think I'd spend a hundred dollars on them and Smart Silence.
What is Smart Silence, you ask? It's basically where, if there's not something pressing up against the nozzle, the pulses automatically stop, which can be useful if you're in a shared living situation where you want maximum discretion — minimal noise when the toy is against your skin, and no noise when it's not on you.
It's just not a deal-making feature for me, though, given the price difference.

My verdict: would I personally buy the Womanizer Next Liberty?
YES, ABSOLUTELY YES!
Somehow feeling more human than the others, more me, more of a reminder of my flesh-and-blood aliveness despite playing with a machine
I've described the "throbbing" and 3D Dynamic Dimension Drive adjustability as:
- Caresses and kisses for my clit
- Able to bring me to another peak and another when I'm super sensitive (common with air pulse massagers)
- Getting me gasping, shaking, and thrashing, killing me with kindness
- Somehow feeling more human than the others, more me, more of a reminder of my flesh-and-blood aliveness despite playing with a machine
It's kind of like when a silicone dildo yields to my clenching and my walls just right. (And why not combine the Next Liberty with a super soft silicone pussy plug?)

While I hesitate to call a massager "natural" stimulation as the manufacturer does, I get what they mean.
If you like precise teasing, edging, and back-to-back multiple orgasms, soft sensations and a great (but not overwhelming) control panel are key.
Between the Liberty and Liberty Next, I like both, but I'd much rather recommend the Next Liberty, particularly when there's a sale.
My favorite retailers usually have 10–20% off, and the manufacturer might offer 30% off (or more!) plus gifts with purchase. If there's not a sale, you can use my coupon code — AFF-SUPERSMASH — for 14% off when you shop Womanizer.
