Tracy's Dog Surreal Review: Bluetooth Lipstick Vibrator
It's no mystery why petite lipstick-style vibrators are popular.
- They can pack a punch with their size-to-fun ratios
- And their bang-to-buck ratio ratios
- They tend to be discreet
- Their unassuming appearances evade social media censorship
All that adds up when marketing to a younger audience in a recession. Such shoppers might:
- Have limited budgets
- Live with others who will snoop
- Want to use their toys in the shower
And a compact bullet like the Surreal is perfect for that.
Surreal Bullet Shape, Size, Features
At a split-second glance, the Surreal Lipstick vibrator by Tracy's Dog might blend in well with one's makeup bag or pencil case. Look any longer, though, and you might wonder about the odd design choice to make it substantially chubbier than most of my lip product tubes.
The Surreal Bluetooth Lipstick vibrator:
- Measures 0.95” diameter across
- Is about 3.75” long, with the cap taken off
- Feels flexible and silky with its matte silicone finish
- Has one button to control 10 settings, plus a remote app
- The three steady speeds range from 65 to 85 Hz — in other words, decently rumbly
- Has an angled tip, just like lipstick, of course!
The downside to its size is that it's conspicuous to the curious. The plus side is that it can be used both internally and externally:
- Tip drill with up to 2.5” and vibrations on or off
- Focus the massage with the lipstick tip
- Diffuse it a little with the flat face or cylindrical body
Who Is the Surreal for or Not For?
In addition to the classic lipstick shape's versatility, the Surreal bullet is also good for beginners in the sense that it:
- Has a moderately strong motor that will please many people
- Has enough settings for the price — at under $40, it's hard to complain about 3 steady speeds and 7 patterns. (Out of the wave settings, 3 are consistent enough for me to find useful.)
- Is affordable — if it turns out that you don't like mid-grade rumbly vibrations or straight and shallow penetration, you can learn that preference without denting your wallet much and try something else
What's not to love about the Surreal lipstick bullet by Tracy's Dog?
- The app leaves something to be desired. Many of the functions didn't work with my smartphone. One that does is the motion sensor, which would be more useful with your phone in your pocket and a hands-free wearable vibrator — let it shift as you walk or dance.
- It's discreet but not quite as much as someone living with their parents might like. (Really? A label declaring “massager” as the content? Just call it a rubber sculpture or personal care product.)
- Lastly, I don't love the brand name, but it doesn't bother me that much.
I don't have much to complain about for the price and vibration quality.
Closing Thoughts on This Lipstick Vibe
The Tracy's Dog Surreal lipstick vibrator is a sassy powerhouse that balances stealth and strength. With its moderately rumbly vibes, versatile design, and app control (even if it's a bit finicky), it's ready to rattle your clit from inside or outside.
